The #1 most resisted and avoided idea is probably this one: to be the change you want to see in the world. Many people are not satisfied with the dynamics of our society for good reasons. People like to talk about the problems (Zeitgeist Movement), people like to complain and to avoid them (Happier Abroad community) and people like to work around the problems (seduction community). But almost nobody wants to change as a person.
Here’s where the true power to transmute your life lies in: Be the change you want to see in the world. Don’t expect others to change. Don’t expect women to be open and feminine. Don’t expect your friends to have more integrity. If you want people around you to have certain qualities, develop these qualities within yourself. Then they will be much more likely to reflect back these qualities towards you.
You probably have resistances about this idea like most people. I want to hear from you. Why would you not want to BE the change you want to see around you? Post your comments!

Gandhi was great, I always remember his line. I think that sometimes we want
to be the change but we don’t know how, due to our subconscious programming among other things, and that’s the main obstacle, reprogra-
mming our subconscious. Even though you have to implant the change,
you want to see who can help you out there, and there are so many voices
talking at once, you have to choose one that makes sense according to you.
I finally decided how I’m going to change things, but it took me a while.
Never lost sight of the fact that i was going to find a way to change, no matter what.

It seems like my purpose has found me, as I got a card with this sentence on a cultural exchange point (you write a good sentence in a card they give you, you give that card to them and then you pick one of the cards with sentences they have on their stand). I’ve had this sentence on my room’s cork wall and hadn’t look much at it since you said it on a previous mail.
Then I thought more about this sentence and I conluded this is the path : )
BTW, I’m excited about the new chapters of S.M. !!

Agreed, people always try to find a quick fix, they don’t want to face the problem. Guys try to learn pick up lines and other tricks hoping that it will somehow cover their personality. If they improved and transformed their life intead they would have much bigger success.

This may be a little off track from what is being discussed but to me life is relatively simple if people realise how to go around it. From an early age we are conditioned to believe in certain ways of life. These ways can be very inhibiting and can create dilemmas later in life. It is understandable that we should look for answers from other people as we have been conditioned to follow this path but the answers may not come from them as they may not be able to understand an individuals perspective at a level that they can offer a perceived help. I am at present going through such a dilemma situation. I am looking for guidance and hoping that someone will be able to provide the necessary tools to help but ultimately the choice is mine and it’s that step of learning to be able to trust myself enough to be able to create the right situation to go forward. I can work with dogs, get them to walk beside me in seconds, to wait, and to communicate to them what I expect of them with very little vocal input, negligible body language to the human eye and just a simple lead. I seem to have an affinity with other animals that I find a challenge with people, yet we are all animals. I am sure that if people took time out to de-clutter their lives and really thought what would make them happier, they would find that it’s the simple things that would have the most effect. I also believe that they would surprise themselves as to what they could achieve if they were able to tap into their simple, natural side. A greater awareness of the environment using as many of the senses as I can at one time on a regular basis seems to create an uplifting sensation in me. A zest for life that energises me. I believe that it’s this sort of action that can aid me in perceived stressful situations as it truly is living in the moment. Thanks for your time.
